To the family of Sgt Christopher Soderlund, I offer the thanks of a family from League City Texas, who only learned of his sacrifice for me and my family by watching Eyewitness war on TV. You and so many like you have defended this nation and my family in places most of us would never want to see let alone spend a day. As a religious man, I believe God will bless you and your family and that his name and your will be counted among those I pray for every day. Thank you from the bottom of my...

My prayers and thoughts for the family. He choose to fight for our freedom, sad he died so young.

Thank you for your service, Sgt. I just watched your comrades pay tribute to you on television and felt compelled to learn more about you. Rest assured that your duty, honor and devotion will never be forgotten.

Christopher gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."
