Not sure what to say?

Dear Chris, You are ever in the thoughts of many of us at UC, Berkeley - a never-to-be-forgotten colleague and friend. I met you via a phone call in 1993 to Head Counsel Mike Smith´s office on the Berkeley Campus, where I started my 23-year service in the Chancellor´s Office of Legal Affairs. It was always a pleasure to greet you whenever you called or appeared on campus. I was thrilled when you accepted the role of Head Counsel at Berkeley when Mike retired, I knew with great...

Thinking of all of you with big love and affection and grieving with you. I always appreciated every member of your family at our camp. Blessed to have met Chris and you all and sending out anything I can to help ease your suffering at this time. Heather Mitchell, Monkey Business Camp

Dear Jocelyn and family,
I am so terribly sad for you all. I wish I had had the privilege to know Chris. I loved the time we spent together this summer with the girls and getting to know you a bit. Your loss is too much to take in. Please know that I am thinking of you daily and sending you love. If there is ever anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.
With love,
Candace

My deepest sympathy to the Patti family and circle of loved ones. May the peace from God that surpasses all understanding be with you.
Php. 4:6,7

I remember when Chris started working at Office of General Counsel in early 1990's. I was a clerical/ admin person. I had an impression of a very smart, dedicated and kind person. My heart goes out to his family and friends. After all of these years, I have a very strong impression of a person who did so much good, and I'm sorry for the loss to the community.

Chris was a brilliant colleague and always the smartest guy in the room. He was kind, and generous with his advice. He was an amazing man. He will be deeply missed by the Cal community and all of those who knew him. My condolences to his family.

This is a tremendous loss for the UC system in addition to his family. Chris thanks for your preps on the numerous lawsuits I was involved in over the years. Your counsel was always spot on. My deepest sympathy to your wonderful family who shared you with the rest of us.
