Not sure what to say?

To Chris' family,

Chris and I were friends at William and Mary - during our senior year we worked at the Polo Club Restaurant together. He was an incredible friend to me and always watched out for me. We worked a lot of late nights and he always made sure that I was safe. He made it clear that anyone who made trouble for me would have to answer to him. After that, I didn't have any more problems with guys bothering me. He just had a bike that year and so I often gave him rides...

I had just recently learned of Chris' passing and I was so shocked and very taken back by it. Vince and Family There are no words that could ever help the hurt the loss of a child leaves you with. But I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many memories still today almost 12yrs later, since I graduated from BCAHS. History was my least favorite class to say it nicly. I would dodge Chris, so we didnt start out on a friendly note. He would walk building to building looking for me some days....

RIP Chris. I was lucky to have known you and you will live on through memories and your beautiful music.

I didn't know Chris very well and my last memory of him was as a happy smiling teenager many years ago., and that memory i'll keep always

To the Phillips Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Chris and I graduated from Pemberton H.S. and thanks to Facebook, I was able to connect with him again after close to 20 years. I'm so sorry for your loss and will keep your family in our prayers. Shirley Keys McGarvey

Mr and Mrs Phillips,
I had the pleasure of meeting Chris through my daughter Ashley Juavinett or as Chris would refer to her as Ashley J.
I just wanted to thank you for bringing Chris into this world even if it was for a short time. He did alot for my daughter (he helped her record her cd)
We were at the service and took away alot from Chris. We will both miss him greatly. Our prayers are with you. Ashley plays alot at Coffee Works in Voorhees if you would ever like to see...

To the Phillips Family,
I met Chris through music and had the pleasure and honor to share the stage with him. Chris was a great guy who was always looking to help those around him and he will be missed. My prayers are with you all.

I just heard about Chris and cannot believe it. He lived a few doors down from me for 7 years & we used to talk all the time when he'd walk his cute dog. I still cannot believe it. My prayers are with Chris' family.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. Chris and I graduated HS together, and he was an all around great person. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers
