Not sure what to say?

My condolences go out to the entire Piraino crew. I only knew about Chris through his brother Mike. Mike always talked about Chris with love and adulation. Sorry for your loss..... our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked with Chris for many years at Langan and we've remained friends beyond those days. He was a fountain of knowledge, both about surveying and New York City, in general.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Chris is a legend and he will be sorely missed.

To Robin and Family;
My prayers are with you and the family. May God give you peace at this time of sorrow. The Holley Family

Chris, along with Barry Fahrer and Eric Joseph, were my mentors when I did s stint with them a few years back in the Topo Unit. I will never forget Chris' friendship, he fondly called me "Lefty". My most sincere sympathies to the family. Chris' departure is really loss to all who knew him.

My deepest condolences to Robyn, Margaret, Cassidy and the entire Piraino family. He left us too young & was a very good friend for the past 27 years during his employment with the City and afterwards. You will be missed. Attached is a photo of Chris and ex-Yankee pitcher Roger Clemens at Ground Zero at the World Trade Center site in 2001 when we worked there during Rescue & Recovery after the attacks.

Some years back? I became good friends with Chris brother Michael....as time went on, I got to know Chris, his fun sense of humor, his zest for life, great love of awesome (shared taste) of tuneage? I am honored to have had the priviledge of being friends with him......CHRIS? May you Rest In Peace and ROCK ON, my friend

I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. I've known Robin and Chris for many, many years. I always enjoyed Chris' sense of humor and his messages to me about our New York/Boston sports rivalries. I'm going to miss those.
Please accept our deepest condolences to everyone from The Zafiris Family.

May you R.I.P. Chris. Your friend Ronnie Hurwitz, Miami Florida .

I went to high school with Chris. He was a fun risk-taker then...but more importantly a sincere person and a gentle soul. In recent years it was fun to read his posts. I'm sorry for your loss.
