Not sure what to say?

More than 35 years ago I went back to school with much trepidation--didn't know how I would keep up with younger students. Chris was my first instructor at HACC. As a result of his excellent teaching skills, I gained the self-confidence I needed to continue. His classes were the best. Nine years later I finally completed my BA degree. I have remembered Chris all these years. I was shocked and saddened to learn of his passing in the HACC alumni magazine. He was so active, so committed to his...

Chris was a good friend and fraternity brother at Hamilton College back in the '60's. I have fond memories of a trip from NY to San Francisco and back with Chris in his VW Beetle and visits to his wonderful parents' home in Queens. Sincere condolences to Chris's family and friends. --John Countryman

Adrienne, I was so fortunate to have know Chris as a professor and then again when he was no longer able to teach. It was a pleasure meeting you as well and knowing what a blessing the two of you were to each other. Chris was well loved by many and I count myself lucky to have crossed paths with such a special person. Dana Boyd (Harrisburg, PA)

Adrienne, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this most difficult time. Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

Peace, Prayers and Blessings

Chris made an indelible impression on HACC, its students, fellow faculty and staff. It is a priviledge to have known and worked with him. The picture of robust health, Chris greeted everyone with a big smile, a positive attitude and a caring manner. I am deeply saddened by his past stroke and passing. Please accept my deepest condolences, Adrienne.

To Adrienne and Family: I worked as Faculty Secretary to Chris and the other instructors in the Social Science Division in the early 90's and sat right outside Chris' office. I will always remember him as a person who cared about ALL the staff and ALL the students. May you find comfort in knowing that his good work speaks for and of him and his memory will remain in the hearts and minds of many.

I sit here trying to find the right words to express what a wonderful person Chris was. I knew him years ago when I was a student at HACC. He was not only a great professor, but a wonderful counselor, mentor, boss and best of all, he was my friend. He taught me so much about life and I think about those lessons often, as they come up in daily living. Chris was a great inspiration to those that he taught, and to those that he helped to guide through life.

There are many, many...
