Chris and I used to fly together at Evergreen. We always talked about "Ernie Pyle", a famous WWII war reporter, next time on our long layover in Kadena, Okinawa, promised we'd rent a car and go see the memorial in Ie-Island. Last year I kept the promise, took a trip to Ie-Island albeit by myself. It was gorgeous early summer day in Okinawa with good ocean breeze, the memorial was meticulously maintained with gorgeous lawn. Chris would have pleased at looking at the memorial. I'll see...

Chris was my flight instructor at ERAU and was, by far, my favorite. I was thinking about him and decided to google. I was delighted to see he was flying 747 for Evergreen..then I was floored to read his obituary. He was a good man. God Speed.

Chris is and always will be a big hearted person. I first met Chris in college and he has taught me the art of flight. Chris not only taught me flight but got me my first life dream job of flying Boeing 747s. I am very saddened and beyond words. Chris I know you're there, fly high brother your are where there are no limits , no pain and true unconditional love.
