Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Chris’s passing recently on a random Facebook encounter. I am so saddened by his passing. It has been many, many years, since I have seen him, but I have such fond memories of him. He was always a kind, fun, and friendly man. I know he is dearly missed by his family. Sending love and hugs to them all.

My life was so blessed to have known Chris Reed. He was such a proud American and you could tell he loved wearing his military uniform. I knew I could always get a big strong hug whenever I saw him. Peace and love to your Mom and extended family.

I will really miss my “Bro” Chris and the times we spent together. Really glad he finally received his well earned Purple Heart and when I first asked him why not, he said as a NCO it was my duty to see my Soldiers get theirs first. That’s who Chris was.
He shared his musical talents with me and he was a natural when it came to singing and musical theater at instruments.
My sincerest condolences to his Mom and family. May Chris rest in peace.

Rest In Peace my old friend!

We didn't know Chris for very long, but it didn't take long to become a good friend. He was an honored veteran and a very interesting person to talk to about a lot of subjects. We will remember that he always had a smile and a kind word to say to everyone he met.

Rest in peace my sweet son. Thank you for sharing your life with Gary and I. It was a honor to have known you and thank you so much for giving your life for your country.

You were an inspiration to many - including me. I will see you on the other side!

Such gentle soul. Forever remembered.

Chris was a patriotic, humble and talented man whose charisma and courage were undeniable. I'm grateful for the time we spent together fishing, talking and laughing. I'll miss you my friend. You left us too early, with too many songs left to be written, too much music to be played and fish yet to be caught.
