My condolences to his family and friends. I grew up with Chris in Santa Cruz, haven't seen him since I left but he was always such a nice guy and always willing to lend a hand.

Last Friday night we, Chris's ship-mates on the SS Jeremiah O'Brien, held a memorial and rang the ship's bell for our dear friend and colleague, Chris. Chris was an experienced medic and kind and considerate of all who came into his circle of care. To a person, we all wish we could have served him better. Rest in Peace, dear friend.

I'm so sorry for your loss. As you remember your love one, may your cherished memories and Almighty God comfort your broken hearts. (Psalm 147:3)

Hey Chris. I never got the chance to meet you but I knew through Cammie's posts about you that you were a pretty rad person. Heck, I didn't know you were a motorcyclist, too. I didn't have to know you personally to know you were a charming and fun, deep-hearted person. I really wish you didn't depart mortal life so damn early. There's so many people you left behind that love you dearly and their hearts ache. I wish your family and friends the best this holiday season and forever after. ...

My heart goes out to Chris's family and friends. As I didn't know Chris personally, I did know many of his country friends from the Saddle Rack in Fremont and Rodeo Club in San Jose. May he rest in peace and keep a watch over all of us. Until we meet Chris. Godspeed.
