I remember how Chris shared many unique places to visit from his travels which helped me appreciate watching Bighorn sheep at Frisco Hot Springs or peering into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison while traipsing through Colorado. It was always a surprising pleasure to hear from him as I rarely returned to Texas. I feel lucky to have known Chris and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will miss Chris, the companion of my best friend Jane and father of their two wonderful daughters Amelia and Rachel. I loved him for loving them, and for his love of his dogs. I will forever thank him for coming to my daughter's wedding in the last days of his life. I love my memories of his happiness at Amelia's and Ivan's wedding. RIP Chris.

Chris was a great teacher and there are many Petroleum Engineers he helped prepare for their careers. I still chuckle over those Starkville days and will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
