Dear Risner family, I am deeply saddened by the story I read in the Kalamazoo Gazette, dated 12-9-18. This just breaks my heart. I have two boys around Christopher's age, and even though we haven't had to deal with such a tragedy, I feel your pain. I'm so sorry for your lost. The video tribute you shared is beautiful and heartbreaking. My dearest family,
I didn't have the luck to meet Chris because of the geographical distance between us. Nevertheless I know him enough from our conversations to tell you that he occupies a very special place in our heart here in France and we are very much proud of what he has achieved in his too short lifetime.
