Not sure what to say?

My condolences go out to Chris's family. We worked together in Los Angeles for eight years, and I have memories of Chris as a very sweet, kind soul. He loved to do research and was a font of knowledge. I remember working late many nights while Chris wrote down the Final Jeopardy Question. He would have done well on the show. So sad to hear of his passing.

Chris, you will be so missed. I thought of you so often...working together, talking, listening to music and just having fun. You were truly an individual and a gentle soul.

Chris was shining, compassionate soul who reached out to me over many, many thousands of miles when I needed a friend. I thank God that I knew him in this life, and I will never forget him.

Some stories have wrong endings.

Christopher Roe's story had many bright moments and great spans of sadness. He was a shining light in many lives.

It hurts that "homicide victim" was the way Chris was destined to go.

My family and I share in your grief and are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We thank Chris that he was such a good friend to Rex. Our deepest sympathy to your family.

He was a man with a great sense of humor, gentle & kind. The world needs more like him, not fewer!

My condolences for such a special man. We grew up together, from Junior High to High School, as good friends, playing cards, chess, games, goofing off. But mostly enjoying all kinds of music together, on our clarinets, and then later he on his oboe and me on clarinet with a woodwind quintet and mostly just for fun. He was a brilliant and kind person.

Chris touched my life in many great ways, I will miss his kindness
