Not sure what to say?

To the family of Christopher Sitton.

I wanted to let you know that our Montrose High School Track & Field team is honoring Chris with a picture in our team room. His state participation signature on our track door will remain there forever, and every season as the athletes who earn a trip to the state meet are preparing to sign their names on the wall, they will first be directed to see Chris and hear of his sacrifice for us all.

SGT EDDY again. I want you to know that I cherish the friends I meet in the military more than people I grew up with. We were a family and looked out for each other. I was a SGT in the Air Force and head Crew Chief of the first C-5 Built since the 60's.I was in the Air Force and Army. Chris is someone I wish I could hang out with to day. He always had a smile.

I miss my friends. People I did not grow up with but trust them more. I struggle. He could tell you stories of what he has been thru and loved every minute of it. The fear of death can never inter your heart. We did what God had us do. I loved every minute of it and I know he did. He helped people who could not help themselves. When I got the word on the radio. I had my driver stop. I got out an unloaded my weapon. Again. I knew Jackson. I don't know why it is hitting me so hard now. Never...

Chris, I miss you. Rest in peace.

I am SGT EDDY. Chris brought me to the hospital when I broke my leg. He waited for me. He was a great person. Someone who cared about others more than his self. He and Jackson passed on my birthday. My birthday will always be to honor my friends. Rest in peace Chris.

Dear Chris, I went to see you today, eventhough I know that you aren't "there'. I had an amazing Memorial Day Weekend with great friends, great food, and so much laughter. I just want to let you know that I know these times were bought for me, for all of us, by you and so many others. I told my friends the story of the food fight that ended up in my kitchen and of your being covered in Italian salad dressing...it was a great memory to share. I think of you often. I miss your laugh. I cried...

Miss you

Chris you will always be remember! You were an outstanding Soldier, a true hero and awesome friend.
