We are saddened to hear about Chris's passing. God needed a great leader on his team. He was so very passionate about his family. Our hearts go out to the Smith family. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Chris. I remember seeing him playing the guitar during the contemporary service at church. He will be missed. Prayers for his family.

I made Chris´ acquaintance working together on the Scout Christmas tree lot in Homewood. He took on the challenging job of coordinating the several troops that work this lot and did a great job. I was really looking forward to working together this year. I´m so sad for his family, his friends and our Scouting community.

I am heartbroken today...for the loss of a colleague, friend and one of the most genuinely kind people I've ever met. Heartbroken for his family...Katie whom he spoke of so adoring and Caroline and Camden whom he absolutely worshipped. I will miss his wit and humor...the earth is poorer without him.
