Christopher A. Sullivan, 46, of Manchester, NH, died November 27, 2005, at Elliot Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born in Manchester, NH on November 8, 1959, he was the son of John J. and Lorraine (Mooney) Sullivan. He was a lifelong resident of the city.

Mr. Sullivan graduated from Manchester Memorial High School, class of 1978.

He was a firefighter with the City of Manchester Fire Department for twenty-two years. Most recently, he was a fisherman’s mate in Seabrook, NH.

Mr. Sullivan was a avid sportsman who especially enjoyed the Boston Red Sox. He loved the outdoors and spending time at Nutts Pond, the beach and Pine Grove Cemetery.

He was a longtime communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Family members in addition to his mother of Manchester include, his wife, of twenty years, Sharon (Lamarine) Sullivan of Manchester; his son, Kyle Patrick Sullivan of Manchester; two brothers, John "Jack" F. Sullivan of Deerfield, NH and Edward D. Sullivan of Manchester; seven sisters, Sister Patricia Sullivan R.S.M. of Silver Spring, Maryland; Kathleen G. Sullivan, Mrs. Peter ( Margaret "Maggie") Chiasson, Mrs. Philip (Mary) Nickson, Mrs. Rene (Joan) Flurey, Eileen G. Sullivan all of Manchester; and Mrs. Michael (Lori) Errigo of Palm Bay, Florida, many nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.

Services: Calling hours are Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Connor-Healy Funeral home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, corner of Concord Street, Manchester, NH.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15AM from the funeral home followed by a mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, Manchester.

Burial will take place in Pine grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

To the Sullivan family,

I had the pleasure of knowing Sullly, for the past 2 or 3 years. We were fishing buddies. He taught me quite a bit bout fishing. He will be saddly missed by me. I am very sorry for your loss.

my thoughts and prayers go out to sharon, kyle sullivan, and to the rest of the sullivan family I can not tell you how sorry I am for your loss. chris was a wonderful man, great husband, and a devoted father he will be missed in so many ways he was a kind hearted man who cared about everyone out there, but all we can do now is keep our heads up and think yhat chris is in a better place he will now feel no more pain and no longer hurt. sharon and kyle if you ever need anything dont be afaid to...

My prayers are with Sharon, Kyle & the Sullivan Family. As a former neighbor of Chris, he came to my rescue and stayed in the hospital to make sure that I was OK. He is truly a hero. With deepest sympathy.
