Dear Pilar and family,
I was shocked and saddened to receive a phone call in Florida that Chris had passed away. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to be there with you all, as I just returned yesterday. Chris and I met in first grade, and he always was a great guy. He was "one in a million", and always had a warm smile to greet everyone. There is a huge void in the universe where his presence used to reside. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

We can't even fathom the loss,there are no words. How grateful we all are to have been touched in any way by this giant of a human being . We are all better for having known Chris.May his spirit live with us forever.
