Wendy and Ron,
I was shocked to hear about Chris' passing. Melissa Burkett-Hinshaw was kind enough to let me know. He was a remarkable young boy when he was in my room. And I had the priviledge to have had him for two years in a row. He was always a friend to those around him, even in grade school. And as a teacher, I couldn't ask for a student who would give more. I am shocked and saddened by the news of Chris's passing. You know when you meet a special person in this world, and Chris was certainly that. I remember 4th grade with him like it was yesterday and that he was always my special skating partner. He forever has a special place in my heart.
