Not sure what to say?

07/27/2003,

Family;

How good it was to see "cousin" Chrystal so peaceful and serene after such an awesome fight.
If there ever were an assurance of heaven, then Chrystal's peaceful sleep is indicative of it.
May the same God of such peace, keep you and yours as you endure this most difficult hour.
And may we all garner from her ever so slight smile, (as she rests) death has lost it's sting--for the children of God.
And on that "great...

Vernon, Edgar and family,
We have wonderful memories of your
mother. Her love of the arts, her
smiles and gentle ways will always
be remembered.

With deepest sympathy,

Mrs. Jacobs will be remembered as an important part of my life at First Church. She always had great encouragement for me. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed, but we will see her again when we all get to heaven. May the Holy Spirit comfort and strengthen you all.

You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. So many fond memories of our years at First Church.
Pearl(Ron)Wyckoff, Juanita Clark
(Daughters of the late Howard and Hattie Otho)

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

WITH SYMPATHY ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN THE THOUGHTS OF MANY WHO CARE DEEPLY ABOUT YOU AND WHOSE PRAYER ARE WITH YOU DURING THIS TIME OF SADNESS.

Vernon, Edgar and Billy:
So sorry to hear of the passing of
one of my "mother's" and a dear
friend. Cannot attend the service, but my prayers are with the family.

Sincerely,
Flip

Vernon & Edgar, and All the Siblings--

A leaf has fallen "to" heaven,
Driven by, the faintest wind--
All because of where she was going,
And not, for where she'd been.
The "Leaf," a part of the Family,
Waiting with joy untold--
To welcome home, dear Chrystal,
To streets, paved with gold.
For it's clear she was needed,
To leave her "labors" and be free--
Chrystal's precious leaf has...

Edgar, Vernon, and Family--
I'm truly sorry for your loss. I so enjoyed cousin Chrystal at the last couple of family reunions.
I'm sorry I won't be here for the services, but I'm scheduled to fly back to Boston on Sat. Pauline kept me advised this week of her condition, and I'm grateful for that.
She truly "fought a good fight" and was blessed to the end. She now has a new beginning that we can only hope for.
May God's tender mercy...
