Dr. Li, you will be missed.
I was fortunate to be one of his last few Ph.D. advisees; his knowledge in Yuan painters and other Chinese art benefitted me and inspired me in the pursuit of Yuan era even after my graduation. I appreciated that his mentoring style have fostered my independent thinking in research and formulating ideas in Chinese art.
