Not sure what to say?

What an athlete. Tough as concrete too...had that old school mentality that is much needed today. Totally love his line about Deion Sanders. Rest in peace Concrete Charlie.

Just recently found out that chuck was my grandfathers first cousin, would´ve been great to meet him.

April,2016 STILL CAN SEE NUMBER 60.

AN HONOR TO MEET HIM. PROUD TO WEAR HIS NUMBER.HE WAS MY HERO.HE WAS A GENTLEMAN.
ALL FOOTBALLERS WILL REMEMBER HIM AND MISS HIM.

With deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. May it comfort you to know that he will return to the days of his youthful vigor as promised at Job 33:25.

I caddied for Mr. Bednarik at Saucon Valley C.C. in the 1980s then met him a few times later, through Slovak Catholic Sokol functions in Bethlehem, PA. What impressed me then was his humility and gratitude for the role the "Sokols' played in his early life. May God bless him and all those "old timers" for their faith in God. We need them now; and they are praying for us from heaven.

The toughest ever. Rest easy Chuck. The last of the iron men literally.

When I met Chuck, I was with my son and daughter, the first thing he did was ask my kids to give him a big hug. He had a never ending smile . He talked with us until we were ready to leave. No other NFL player was ever as big hearted as concrete Charlie. Chuck you treated us like family, I feel so lucky to have met the man I looked up to and will always look up to until my time has come. I am going to have your jersey passed down from generation to generation and never let it leave my family....

Emma, It was a great pleasure meeting you & Chuck at Trimmer's Grove & The Musikfest. God's Blessings. Regards, Paul Arlene Paliscak ( Slovak Friends From Washington, NJ}
