Not sure what to say?

Chuck and Virginia were my American parents' when I came to live in Portland as an au pair nearly 30 years ago.
Both of them welcomed me into their family and hearts, treated me as one their daugthers throughout that year and beyond. I will always be grateful for all the help and love they have given me.

They are both amongst the loveliest and kindest people I had the luck to meet in my life !
I was so privileged to share special and fun times with them, playing tennis with...

Chuck lived life to the fullest! Always busy with projects, directing "traffic" at the Pistol River property, keeping a pot of coffee going, and running up and down the hill in the golf cart.
One time during a big storm with the power knocked out we went down to check on him and Lamar. The "bachelors" were cooking up hot dogs inside on a camp stove - convinced them to crack the window open. Ever generous, they offered to share.
Our condolences to Virginia and the entire extended Bleeg...

I will miss Chuck very much. He was always so honest and trustworthy in his business dealings. He was a friend of my husband's at the Irvington Tennis Club through the years. What a unique and wonderful guy! God rest his soul!

Growing up on the same block with the whole Bleeg family was like living an adventure. Something fun was always going on. A few years ago when he told me to start calling him Chuck, was like a rite of passage. He was the ringleader for a lot of fun. Thanks Bleeg Family and Mr. Bleeg!

He was a great Christian man who will be greatly missed by all his customers. Deepest condolences to the whole Bleeg family. You will be missed Chuck. I know Ernie Bisio will be waiting for you at the pearly gates.

Sarah,

My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I drive by Bleeg Motors everyday and it seems like just a few months ago, I would see your Dad our there at closing time locking the chain to the driveway and securing business for the night. I remember you sharing your wonderful family stories with me when I first arrived in Portland and certainly felt a connection to your wonderful father. His legacy lives on in all the lives he touched. Many blessings to you and your family during...

So sorry for all the Bleeg family!

Chuck Bleeg was one of a kind. I had the pleasure spending time with him on the golf course, at his family beach compound, enjoying after dinner visits over coffee and conversations across his desk at his Sandy Blvd landmark dealership. Chuck was one of the easiest people to visit with I've ever known. Always friendly and generous with his knowledge and time. Very funny. Condolences to Virginia, Sarah and the entire Bleeg family. God Bless and RIP, Chuck.

It was such a privilege being a part of Chucks care team He truly was one of a kind And I will cherish the memories I have Sending his entire family my most sincere condolences
