Lieutenant Colonel Chuck Cochran blocked out on God's time for an on-time departure early morning Christmas Eve. Chuck was always amazed that in one lifetime he progressed from helping to plow with a team of horses to reaching the speed of sound in a single engine jet airplane.

I met Chuck during our first year in Law School at Dayton. We were both older than normal students. We enjoyed studying together. A bright and intelligent student. My condolences to his surviving friends. RIP, Jim Danehy Cincinnati Ohio

I am a daughter of one of his many friends from the Air Force. My dad, Louie Franklin, held Chuck in high esteem. They both flew in the B-47 in the 98th Bomb Wing. Mr. Cochran and my dad faithfully wrote each other every year. My dad died in 2017 and today I was going back through some of his things. Dad kept Check´s last business card from his business, Chrysler and DeSoto Airflows. I am saddened to see that Mr. Cochran died so recently. I appreciate whoever included this picture as I can...
