Chuck Conrad

To the Conrad Family,

Chuck was a consummate teacher of life, mixed in with Track and Cross Country. We were adversaries and friends. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Joyce and family,
Denny and I are so very sorry to find out about Chuck's passing. He was always there for me when I needed anything when I was coaching at East Jackson. He was a special man who enjoyed giving and being around people. We will always treasure his friendship .

I was fortunate to have known The Coach as a member of the cross country and track teams from 1967 through 1970-71 school years. The Coach taught us lessons that carried us to the State Championship and on through life. Things like goal setting, perseverance, overcoming adversity, the knowledge that you can always do a little more than you think you can do, and defining success as finishing with an empty tank. What a good soul - I always enjoyed working with Chuck and son, Mike, in the Western Athletic Office. The Conrads were a supportive family of educational athletics. My thoughts and prayers are with Joyce and the family.

Joyce,Mike and Thom. I was saddened to hear about Chuck's passing away. I can still hear him calling me Fairchild and how I would tell him my name is Fairbanks. I would love to hear him call me Fairchild one more time. Joyce you and Chuck were two of my favorite teachers. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
