CHUCK MEEKS

Charles L. (Chuck) Meeks was born in 1949 in Pueblo, CO. He passed away Sept. 30, 2015 in Denton, TX. at the age of 66, after a short illness. He was preceded by his loving wife, Sharon Shuyler Meeks, who also passed away in May. He is survived by h is 2 sons, 3 stepsons, and 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Elaine Alley, and brothers, Bill Meeks, and George Meeks, and nephew Rock y (Mary) Hodges.

He was honorably discharged from the US Army, as a S er g ean t, withtours in Germany and Viet Nam. After me e t ing Sharon at Ft. Leonard W ood, they left the Army and moved to Deer Park,where he became a valve technician at Val t ek. H e worked for Valtek / Flowserve for the rest of his life .

A memorial service will be held for Chuck at the Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville TX, at 10:00 AM on November 14th. A tribute fund (#38966526), for donations in lieu of flowers, has been set up for both Chuck and Sharon at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
