Not sure what to say?

I have a high respect for Mr Yeager as he accomplished more in his lifetime then most men could ever dream of. He is truely a man's man! I was in the Air Force and worked on B-57 aircraft at Stewart AFB in Newburgh, NY. I wish I could have met him and shake his hand. That would have been a dream for me. Bless you General Yeager!

My husband's truck broke down years ago in Arcata California on Christmas Eve. We were trying to make dinner in Eureka. We had to hitch hike back and Mr Yeager picked us up. We talk about it often and will never forget the blessing. He would come to Crescent city airshow. What a great human being. You will be missed but not forgotten. Lori and Carl James

Chuck Yeager was a neighbor of my family in Hahn, Germany.
My father, Charles Willes was second in command at that air base at that time(1956). He was a 1941 West Point graduate, along with Hahan commanding officer Fred Ascani.
Condolences to the Yeager children.

Donald woods my father was good friends with this great man and iam very proud of that godspeed to Mr. Yeager and Dad....

I did not have the honor and privilege of meeting you in person, sir, but, being such a fan of aviation and the space program you were always larger than life to me. I so admire your courage and accomplishment in being the first person to break the sound barrier.what a “giant leap” that was for mankind. Thank you for everything you did while living your marvelous 97 years. You are truly missed and a hero to us all.

I just finished watching a documentary about the years General Yeager was at Muroc working on the sound barrier. It reminds you of what a Man´s Man is. What a legend, what a loss to all of us.

He picked my husband and I hitchhiking in Eureka on Christmas years ago and took us back to our truck in Arcata what a great guy! He came to an air show in crescent city and flew children around what a guy my husband and I speak of him often thank you
