Not sure what to say?

I was just at the Museum in Santa Fe and was told of Ciel's passing. I am still speechless at the loss of such an extraordinary human. Ciel was my mentor at UCSB and she always was incandescent when talking about art and life. The world is a grayer place without her. My deepest condolences to her family.

I am so saddened to hear of Ciel's passing and want to extend my sincere sympathy to her partner, Edward, to her children and her entire family . I feel privileged to have been able to help coordinate her care and get to know her as a beautiful and creative soul with an astounding positive zest for life . She will sadly missed by all who were touched by this remarkable woman.

I was very saddened to hear of Ms. Bergman's passing and want to extend to her partner, Edward, and to her children, Bridgit and Erik in particular, and to the rest of her family, my deepest sympathies on their loss. So saddened to hear to Ciels passing. I thought of her all week. I am so honored to have been able to know and be trusted by such a rare, strong, and lovely soul. She will make a very beautiful angel. My prayers go out to her loving companion and her children.

My sincerest condolences. Ciel's bravery and determination was a testament to her inner strength and passion for life. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of getting to know her and being a part of her care team. She was a remarkable lady.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May the words of our dear heavenly Father bring you comfort and hope. (Psalm 9:9, 10
