Cindi Cook of Lockhart Passed away April 23, 2024.Cynthia "Cindi" Rochelle Cook Was born on October 4, 1967, to William Gene Cook and Rachel Schofield in Apoka, Florida. She is Preceded in Death by her Father Gene Cook, her Mother Rachel, Brother Robert, Her common law Husband David Weeks, Brother-in-law Roger Weeks. She leaves Behind a Brother Billy Cook (Geneva, AL), David Cook (Chancellor, AL) and Tenille Cook Hemp (Enterprise) and many friends.
Cindi loved Softball, Football, and Tennis. Her favorite team was the Auburn Tigers, and her Favorite Tennis player was Novak Djokovic. She loved so many and would give you the shirt off her back. She would never ask for anything in return. She had a heart of gold. I (Terrilynne Hatton) lived with Cindi for 10 years and we spent many a night playing Karaoke on the WII. We had so much fun. She got her to love to read and of course watch her Hallmark movies. We loved the show Smallville, it was our favorite show of all-time. We also loved the movie franchises of Twilight and Fifty Shades (loved the books too). She loved to sow and do arts and crafts.
She worked at the Gitty up n Go for 10 years as their lead attendant. she also worked on the side at RC upholstery with Roger Weeks and the sowing factory in town. She loved animals and had plenty over the years, her favorite had to be her Daisy, she loved that little dog and the many other dogs and cats she had. She also made knives with Roger, and they were beautiful. She loved to swim. She also when she was able liked to play softball. Her health declined over the years, and she wasn't able to leave her bedroom, so she read and watched Hallmark movies all the time. Cindi loved music and loved to laugh, she hated scary movies and movies that made her cry. She liked romance, action, and comedy movies. She also liked crime shows and her favorite were the Chicago shows on CBS and Law and order SUV. Cindi also loved to have a Flower Garden and do plants and flowers around her home and house on the inside and outside. Her favorite color was pink, and she loved to make stuff from Quilts to golf cart seats. Cindi will be missed by all of us, she led by example and showed kindness to all as well as one of the hardest workers I ever knew. God Speed and May comfort finally find you, my sister.
Services for Cindy Cook will be announced by Evans Funeral Home.
