Not sure what to say?

I never had the priveledge to meet Ms Walker but I loved her music. Ms Walker was briefly married to an uncle of mine and his sister told me what a lovely person she was and introduced me to her work. Now Im grown and have had a 30 year career as a singer .I at least got to sing her songs and will continue to let the audience know of her great gift.

I grew up right up the street from where she lived. I was in awe of her. She was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. I got to know her through my grandmother Ione Busby and great-aunts Inez & Orlean McSwaine. She will live on through her songs. Misty Moonlight was and still is one of my most favorite songs.

What an amazing life and what an amazing family!

The Angels are going to be two-stepping to the best of the best Western Swing when Miss Cindy gets Home and Mama can play her songs again.

My deepest sympathies to her family but imagine the jam session when the circle is unbroken, by an dby, Lord, by and by!

God bless you and keep you.

A few years ago, I kept listening to Dusty Skies time and again because it is such a beautiful and moving western song. So sorry to read of Cindy Walker's death in the Fresno Bee newspaper. What a talent. Cindy Walker deserved all the accolades she received.

You Dont Know Me, Take Me In Your Arms and Hold Me, Misty Moonlight, I've played these songs for my children so they wont forget. What a wonderful heart she must have left her family to care for. Thank You!

As we all know, Cindy Walker was a great songwriter and also a great person. She gave up alot to help her mother during her last years because she loved her. Cindy was a regular person, not bragging about her songs, just being Cindy. Keep on singing with the angels in Heaven and we will always remember her as an angel on earth.

I don't think anyone will ever come close to matching this lady's contribution to music. She touched so many lives and especially mine.

Was so sorry to hear the death of such a wonderful songwriter .I remember when i was younger hearing about her and her songs she wrote and I love hearing them now especially since I have a lot of time to listen to all the older songs, which I so enjoy.May God bless all. Della
