Cindy Marie Wiley

Mrs. Cindy Marie (Freeman) Wiley, 48, of 14310 Pen Mar-High Rock Road, P.O. Box 81, Cascade, MD, entered into eternal rest at 7:10 A.M. Monday, December 20, 2010 in Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, MD. She just returned from a Caribbean cruise. She was born on March 5, 1962 in Hagerstown, MD; she was the daughter of John O. Freeman of Cascade and the late Doris I. "Punkey" (Emory) Freeman. She was a lifelong resident of the Cascade area. Cindy attended the School for the Blind in Baltimore. She and her husband, Daniel G. Wiley, Jr., were married on November 30, 1979 in Hagerstown, MD. They moved to the present residence in 1980. Cindy was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of Cascade American Legion Post #239 and the Hagerstown Y.M.C.A. Mrs. Wiley enjoyed music, swimming and going to the ocean. In addition to her father and husband, she is survived by her grandfather, Cletus W. Emory of Cascade, three sons, Terry E. Wiley of Cascade, Daniel G. Wiley III of Waynesboro, and Steven E. Freeman of Cascade, two grandchildren, Hunter Wiley and Kelsee Wiley, one brother, John O. Freeman of Waynesboro and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad Street, Waynesboro with Pastor Mark A. Holser officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Church Cemetery in Cascade. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the funeral home.
