Not sure what to say?

We will miss him very much. He & my uncle Davey were a great team. Your family is in our thoughts & Prayers

I will never forget how Chippy helped my former mother-in-law when she was going through a difficult time in her life. It was almost as if Anna and Chippy "adopted" her the way they looked out for her. It was comforting to her son, who lived out of town, to know such a good friend was keeping an eye on her.

After returning from vacation, I was shocked to see the death of Chippy. Even though I only knew him as my barber for over 40 years, I did know him as the most gentle, kindly, and nicest guy I have ever met. A truly Good Guy. My sympathy to his whole family. He will be missed.

To the family of chippy, I got my first haircut from chippy in 1960 at the age of 2. I have been visiting his shop for 53 years and always went to see him. He was always full of life and talked about his kids and grand kids. He was so very proud of all of you . He will be sorely missed and I can't tell yu how much he meant to me. Chippy was truly one of the great gentlemen. I have met in my life

I looked forward to sitting in the front of the shop, listening to the crackling AM radio as the sun cast it's long Saturday morning rays inside. Reading, talking, and hanging out in old school fashion - at the barber shop. But not just any shop - it was Chippy's. We love you Chip! God bless your soul.

To the family of "Chippy" Calabrese:

My coldolences to the family on hearing of Chippy's passing. He will be sadly missed by the community and his customers. His life and work meant many different things to many different people from all walks in life. His quiet and gentle ways and sound wisdom were always evident even as, near the end, he suffered much. Perhaps the highest compliment I can leave for Chippy is that I am a better person for having known you!!!

You got me beat, Russ!! Mine was 9 in 1968. He cut the remaining locks of mine (I'm mostly bald now) a few months ago, and something told me that it'd be the last. Toward the end the last few times (in addition to tipping him 5 bucks on a $15 cut for a bald guy which we joked about) I'd go next door and buy him a coffee from the bagel shop, which he appreciated. What a gentleman and a gentle man. Hard worker and class act all the way. We can all/each take a lesson from him indeed. I'll...

We are very sorry to hear of Chippys passing. He is a legend in the Barber Industry. RIP

Frank, Sue and Family,
I just wanted to express my sympathy in the loss of Frank's dad. Thinking of you all.
