Claire was such a loving, caring and oh so courageous woman. She fought her battle with cancer with such optimism and determination...and she won! She was a talented sewer and quilter. The thing that she loved most after her husband and extended family was her sewing machine. Not only was she my student, she was my very special friend. I will miss her.
