Not sure what to say?

Claire was an elegant, talented, loving and deeply kind lady. She was so warm and welcoming to me from the first time I stepped on a Community Players stage at the age of 13 through numerous productions that followed. She was a true role model, and I will always treasure the time I spent playing her "daughter" (Ladyhouse Blues). May her memory be a blessing.

We have known, admired and loved Claire ever since meeting her at St. Stephen's Church in Attleboro back in the early 1980's. She was always a very attractive woman with a personality like no other! We always loved it when Claire was the Lector at Mass, because those readings would be read and expressed like a stage play, bringing God's words truly to life. She was also a fabulous volunteer for her church, and made the best apricot pie I have ever tasted! We bestow my deepest sympathy...

Dear Edward, Ann, and Paul, I´m sorry for the loss of your beautiful, sparkling mother. I have so many fond memories of the years we spent together, Community Players kids and our late nights at Asquinos :) Your mother touched me deeply when she was on stage. I could watch her for hours and always lost myself in her characters. I vividly remember being a young girl, watching her performance of "Anne of a 1,000 Days" with tears streaming down my face. Such a beautiful woman inside and out....

I knew Clare as a member of the Community Players of Pawtucket many years ago before I moved from Rhode Island. She was lovely, smart, sincere, kind and genuine, as well as a terrific actress! I had the pleasure of being in several plays with her, including Anastasia and The Miracle Worker. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will miss you always.

I had the pleasure of meeting Claire delivering her mail. I always knew she was up when I would see the light on above her loveseat. Her home became my break spot and we talked about anything and everything. I am so very thankful I got to see her in the play `Love Letters´ as well. Claire you were a beautiful person inside and out and I am so very blessed to have met you. I will miss you dearly. My sincere condolences to the family. Lisa

Claire was my Nextdoor neighbor and she was an inspiration to me. She was very kind and helpful to me along with her sons and grandson too! I will miss our chats and all the helpful information she would give me. I went to see her at her last performance and she was terrific! God bless and keep her in his loving arms! Sandy Healey
