Dear Ann, Muff, John , Chris, Lois and Phil,
What a fitting tribute for Claire...she was so ever loving and generous to me as a child and this continued into more recent years: giving me my first issue of Parents magazine when my son David was born, including Matthew in Sunday dinners when he was at Cornell, keeping close company and tabs on Tib when she was alive. I did eat her creme puffs and witnessed the frequent and many ways of preparing mussels the summer I spent with your family...

We had the great privilege to know and admire Perry and Claire. They were models of graciousness, good friendships and kindness to all.

We were enriched by the good times we shared with them and their many friends. They were simply an incredible couple and we shall never forget them.
