Read MoreWe were so sad to hear the news of Claire´s passing and even sadder that we heard after the wake. Claire was a welcoming and loving presence on Montclair Ave. With giant and later little dogs by her side, she always stopped to talk to us and catch up with our kids. We loved her. I am so sorry to hear of Claire´s passing. She was a wonderful part of our FSU class of 1962. We always look forward to her smile at our mini reunions. Please know she will be in my prayers for her family. We love you, Claire.

Claire and I bonded quickly as fellow math educators working together at the Timilty Middle School - we were co-teachers in the same room until we were split up, but always friends. We became math coaches the same year with James Early. We taught and presented many classes and workshops together. We were more than just friends- our families knew one another, our dog´s names were our early computer passwords. We have shared so much. Claire will be sorely missed. I love you Claire
