Not sure what to say?

We were so sad to hear the news of Claire´s passing and even sadder that we heard after the wake. Claire was a welcoming and loving presence on Montclair Ave. With giant and later little dogs by her side, she always stopped to talk to us and catch up with our kids. We loved her. Neighbors enrich a neighborhood and Claire enriched ours, and our lives. Sending love to all the Hogartys. Kathy and Jimmy Henry

I am so sorry to hear of Claire´s passing. She was a wonderful part of our FSU class of 1962. We always look forward to her smile at our mini reunions. Please know she will be in my prayers for her family. We love you, Claire.

We are so sorry to hear of Claire´s passing. Our condolences to the HOGARTY family. We always looked forward to seeing her at the Borelli celebrations! She was a lovely lady! May she rest in peace. Steve and Marie Giordano

Mrs. Hogarty you will be greatly missed! I have many found memories of your math crew from the Timilty with my Mom, Neelia Jackson and James Early. Great friends both inside and outside the walls of the school. Prayers to family and friends as we lean on each other through these tough times in memory of a great woman. Xoxo

I am so sorry to learn of Claire´s passing -- I always looked forward to being with her at our annual FSU mini reunions. She will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family at this difficult time.

Such a lovely neighbor! She is missed.

Claire and I bonded quickly as fellow math educators working together at the Timilty Middle School - we were co-teachers in the same room until we were split up, but always friends. We became math coaches the same year with James Early. We taught and presented many classes and workshops together. We were more than just friends- our families knew one another, our dog´s names were our early computer passwords. We have shared so much. Claire will be sorely missed. I love you Claire
