Claire Elizabeth Largin, of Hoover, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the age of 20. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. Claire was born on October 26th, 1998 in Birmingham, AL, and was the daughter of Roger and Susie Largin. She was caring, intentional, and had the most beautiful smile that could light up any room. If you knew her well or barely at all, she had an impact on everyone she met. Whether it was about how absolutely beautiful, ridiculously funny, or how kindhearted she was, she left her mark. Claire's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived. Claire was a junior at the University of Alabama pursuing a dual degree in early childhood education and special education. She loved children and would have become the best teacher. Claire loved being among people and making people laugh, always the shining light in the crowd. Claire became a Christian when she was 13 years old and was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and now rests in His presence. Claire was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Largin. She leaves behind her parents; sister, Madison; brother, Will; and the love of her life, Cortez Hall; grandparents, Sue Largin Morgan and Stuart Bean; and her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:30-2:00, Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at Hunter Street Baptist Church. Service will follow at 2:00, Pastor Bill Decker officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

Not sure what to say?

It's really sad to see that someone in the family died at such a young age. I'm sure she has lived a very high quality life, and I am sorry for your loss, I can only imagine the heart break. I am a cousin. I am one of the grandsons of Chuck Largin, who moved from Alabama to San Diego a long time back.

I am always missing your bubbly personality and you making me laugh through classes. Wish I could just hug and see ya one more time. I love you, Clairebear!!

Dear Largin family, we are so sad you lost your beautiful daughter in such a tragic accident. She had everything in her life in order. I know she has loving family wrapping their arms around her. I believe you are our lost cousins. Our father was Raymond Gray Largin, brother to (William) Bill Largin from Atlanta, Ga. Parents, William Oscar and Mintoria Largin, Brookwood, Al. Reach us when you can.

Dear Largin family, I am so sad about the loss of your beautiful daughter. My nephew sent me her obituary. I believe you are our lost cousins from Georgia. My father is Raymond Gray Largin from McCalla,Al., not far from Brookwood, Al. My father's brother was Bill Largin from Atlanta, Ga. I am happy to find you. I would love to learn more about your family. The Largins are good Christian people and your daughter embraced her faith and was a good example in her youth. Bless you all at this sad...
