CLAIRE LEDERER

LEDERER--Claire, of Great Neck, New York passed away on June 15, 2014. She was born on July 20, 1929 in Basra, Iraq and emigrated to the US in 1948 with her parents Sabiha and Heskel Saleh and sisters. Survived by her children Karen Lederer (Michael Scher), Steven Lederer (Carolyn), former husband Arthur Lederer, grandchildren Roxanne Lerner (Todd), Travis Scher, Matthew Lederer and Austin Lederer, sisters Joyce Slotkin (Arnold), Tina Barland (Dr. Peter) and Yvonne Lurie (David). She had a long career working in accounting at several companies on Long Island, became a Bat Mitzvah as an adult, enjoyed bridge, tennis and our dogs, and was one amazing cook. A loving and energetic woman, she will be terribly missed. Service at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 17th at Riverside Nassau North Chapel, 55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, New York.
