Not sure what to say?

Robin and A.J. Jim and I send our love and sympathies in the loss of your mother. We are so glad we got to spend last Thanksgiving with her. We had such a wonderful day telling stories of the "good old days." Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Connie, Claire, Carol

Robin and A.J. - I am very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. From first grade through high school, Claire, my sister Connie and I were nearly inseparable. We were best friends, the Three Musketeers, and then lost touch over the years, until fairly recently. We met in Portland, had a chance to reminesce and stayed in touch after that. I have many fond childhood memories of your mother and all the adventures we shared. The picture that is attached is eighth grade graduation from...

Robin and A.J. - My sincere condolences on the passing of your Mom. She was a very sweet soul whose proudest accomplishment is the two of you. I will always remember her standing "on the hill" waiting for the next "goal."My thoughts are with you both during this very difficult time.

Robin and A.J., I am very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember her beautiful smile, loving support, and mother's pride she showed during contless hours of your sports. She was a lovely lady. My prayers are with you both and your families - may you find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared.

Robin and Adam and families--I am so sorry for your loss. Claire and I were childhood friends growing up on Cleeve St in Portland; and we reconnected when we both lived in Gardiner. She was a warm, caring friend and will be missed by many.

I was a student of Mrs. Parker and I am so sorry to hear of her passing she was a treasure to all who were taught by her.My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

Claire I miss you so much. I had the best time working with you at Palmyra. We became best friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Adam, Robin and their families. You had a great mom.

Claire Bear,
"It takes a long time to Grow an old Friend"Reading over my birthday card."I know the real you,you know the real me" on front cover says it all, no pretense, no flowery words, masking the truths, even when they hurt. No time for re-do's,no need. Claire Bear,You are the real deal and you will live on in my heart forever.
My warmest snugs,
Your friend, Belle White ?

I taught with Claire for eight of those 35 years in Palmyra, and she was always a caring and compassionate colleague. She was a veteran teacher, and I was new. She always treated me with respect. Palmyra School was a real family, and Claire was like my big sister. I think of those times often with love and fondness. Her spirit will live in the many lives she touched.
