Claire REDFORD Obituary
Lady Claire Redford passed away on October 5, 2015, in San Marcos. Claire lived most of her life in Austin. She was born on June 10, 1941, as the daughter of Claire and Dr. Emmette Redford, a distinguished professor at the University of Texas. She attended schools in Austin and thereafter was married and had three children. Claire had many friends in her life and enjoyed cooking.
Her brother Sam died at age 13 and her parents predeceased her. Her children are John Redford, David Aring and Kathy Anderson. Her grandchildren are Laredo Virgoe, Rio Virgoe, Austin Virgoe, Kristi Redford, Carrie Young and Crystal Jenkins. Her great-grandchildren are Kaeli McMichael, Claudia McMichael, Tyler Scheneman and Emily Jenkins.
