Not sure what to say?

Claire made a huge impact in my life. I met her through her niece Danna Pierce (also a dear and missed friend) when I was 14. She was funny and smart and a resilient mom. After Sanny was lost at sea and her house crumbled to the ground by Loma Prieta, she was still formidable and loving and patient and giving joy to those around her. She is missed.

Dear Quitanne and Maya,
I was a close friend of your aunt Dana and hung out with you, your mom and dad many times both in Marin and after you moved to Aptos....I sadly have lost touch with Dana and your mom Claire and am truly sad to hear she has passed. Your mom helped me a TON and I have through the years felt such gratitude for her light and love. Warmest wishes.
Carol.

Dear Quitanne and Maya,
I am so sorry for your loss of a wonderful mother.
Claire played with you in the sun and rain.
We loved being your neighbor in Corralitos in the 80's.
love, Claudia, Shaun,and Jason

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family Kent. We were so sad to have heard the news about Claire, but find comfort in knowing she's no longer suffering anymore and is now resting in peace.

The community has lost a very special person. Claire gave in so many ways. She was a tremendous support for me many times during the past 25 years. I used to tell her I'd graduated, but still kept coming back for tune-ups. I'll miss her.

We are so saddened that you are not here to celebrate your wonderful life with us tomorrow. We will be there to honor you and will always appreciate the wonderful person you were and the love you gave to others which will NEVER be forgotten. We thank you for being in our life.

Dear Quitanne and Maya,
I remember your mother--and you both--so well from our kindergarten days, Quitanne. I'll always remember Claire's wonderful voice and the strong, loving image of womanhood she imprinted on my young mind. Warm and happy memories from your Corrolitos home fill my mind today. I hope good memories comfort you and all of Claire's family and friends.
Warmly,

We will miss you, Claire.

We remember Claire as a vibrant, funny, charming woman. Our hearts go out to you in your loss.
