MEMORIES OF YORKTOWN HIGH SCHOOL WOULD NOT BE COMPLETE
WITHOUT A MENTAL PICTURE OF CLAIRE AND HER EVER PRESENT SMILE.

R.I.P. YOUNG LADY, YOU ARE MISSED BY MANY.

I am a support group leader for neuroendocrine cancer, based in Singapore. Claire approached me for advice on treatment options. I noticed that she was not responding to mails and am sorry to learn of her passing. My condolences to her family.

Claire will be so missed by the carcinooid group. Her fight was an example and encouaragement to all of us. It wa a privilege to call her friend.

So saddened to hear of Claire's passing. I met Claire a few years ago at our cancer support group. She fought this disease with fiery and was always researching new treatments. She willingly shared her experiences with others which was very beneficial. My sympathies to her family. May God bless you in this time of sorrow. RIP Claire.

I was shocked to hear about Claire passing away. I met her at CASC, a Carcinoid Cancer support group in the DC area. I will always remember her friendliness and how she searched for the latest treatment for our disease. She will be missed. Praying for her Family, for peace, strength and comfort during these difficult days, Carol Martin Fort Mill, SC

I was filled with great sadness when I heard the news of Claire's passing. As a newer member of the Carcinoid support group I was always awed with the depth of her knowledge of the disease and her determination to fight it hard to the end. My condolences to her family and friends.

I became a friend of Claire's late in her life through our shared experience with neuroendocrine cancer (NET). We met in our support group and formed a quick, warm bond. She was a fierce fighter of our disease, filled with information and ammunition for the battle. I am so sorry that she did not have more time to be with us. She was an inspiration -- giving her all to the fight yet recognizing the limitations of her efforts. I will miss her greatly.

I knew Claire through CACS - the Capital Area Carcinoid Survivors. She was an active participant and brought her fierce intelligence to fighting the disease. Her passion and sly sense of humor will be sorely missed.

I remember how adorable and always friendly Claire was to everyone. Such a loss of talent and friendship to her classmates. She will always be remembered in my heart. My sincere sympathy to her loving family. A candle will be lite in her memory. Sincerely,
Joanie Baptist Hartley
