Clara was such a gracious lady. She made me and my family feel so welcome to her home. I will always remember fondly my Univ. of Richmond days and the good home southern cooking I would receive when Kim and I would stop by the house.. She treated me like one of her own. I just loved that about her! I know she is having an awesome time in heaven!

Dear Bob and family - Just saw the sweet picture of dear Clara as I was scanning the Daily Press from last week. We are so sorry we did not see this in time to attend the funeral @ Bethlehem. When I first started attending Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Clara was one of the people who always welcomed me with a smile and hug. She was such a sincere and loving person to everyone. I remember how generous she was sharing her time with the children of Luther Memorial School. It was a blessing to know her.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the Beard family members. Clara was like a second mother to me, my sister Sam, and my brother Doug. We were very blessed to grow up next door to such a loving soul. She is home now .... and I know my parents are embracing her.
