Not sure what to say?

This may seem strange that I am writing eleven years after your mother's passing. But your mother's name came up recently and I just found her obituary. Your mother was my PE teacher GAA advisor at Honey Creek. (In case my name confuses you, I am a female who was named after her dad.) Your mother had a great impact on my life. Because of her, I developed a lifetime love of volleyball. I am 69 years old and only gave up playing 5 years ago. I coached volleyball for 50 years. I also was a...

To the Dischinger Family,
Clara was the first person I met, at Terry's orthodontic office in the Olson Memorial Clinic, when I decided to have braces as an adult. She had a smile that said she really cared for each person she came in contact with. I was also fortunate to have worked with Clara and Donas in Terry's office. They were kind and generous people. My condolences to all of the family.

Dear Terry, Mary and entire Dischinger family: We are so sorry to hear of the loss to you of Clara! I loved seeing her at church and talking with her as she was always so positive about how she was doing. I never saw her without a smile on her face and I know that her smile is even bigger today as she is with the Lord. Our prayers and love go out to you.
Love, Laurie and Bob Barrett

To the entire Dischinger Family,
Clara was a gem! She added so much to my years at Mt. Park Church. She was an amazing and special woman. Heaven is far the richer!

Terry, Nancy, and Tommy,
I'm so sorry to hear that your mom passed away. What a wonderful life she led....and what a dynamic, giving person she was. We all benefited from her talents, drive and selfless spirit. She was a wonderful mom and example to us all. My thoughts are with you ...

Terry, Nancy, Tommy, and all your families

I was so sorry to hear about your mother, but she had to be enjoying life to the end if she passed on to Heaven peacefully watching a football game. I know your Dad will enjoy having her beside him again watching those games. All your family, and especially your wonderful Mom and Dad, will always be remembered by those who knew them and shared so many great times. She was a great inspiration to many and we need more Clara's for our young...

Terry and family, Terry my father Maynard Davison taught school at Honey Crek with your mom. Then at south with both of them.I had your mom as my instructor and i enjoyed every minute of it. Sheas a svery special lady to all of us who had her. God Bless yout family at this time.

Tomya,
On July 9, 1961 your Mother came into my room at St. Anthony's Hospital and suggested your name for our new born daughter. That was my only encounter with Clara, but I will remember her always as someone that came into my life during a special time.

Terry and family:
Anyone who knew your mother knew that she was a very special person. She was "one of the guys" in the press box who quietly commanded eveyone's respect.

The Dischinger family made an extraordinary impact on Vigo County and, like the deft point guard on the basketball floor, Clara was "the stick that stirred the drink." My sincere sympathy.
