Clara was an amazing woman who was talented, generous, energetic, fun-loving and fearless. She was always thinking of ways to help others. I first met her at the International Quilt Show in Houston in the Fall of 2013, when she came up to me and introduced herself as a quilting student of my sister, Libby Lehman - a well known quilting teacher and artist. I'm so sorry to hear this. Clara laughter always made me smile. Years ago Clara, her parents, another quilting friend and myself went to dinner after the quilt show. It was a night of non stop laughter. I will never forget meeting her in Houston to separate the sisterhood of the traveling triangles blocks. Despite working all day Clara took them home to finish.
