Clara Mae Nance

My mother was a very special woman, she was one of the hardest workers I have ever known. She taught me at a very young age the importance of putting my best effort into whatever I chose to do. When I was young she showed me how to knit, sew, pick beans, walnuts, filberts and anything else that grew from the earth which was a reflection on her growing up on a farm and being expected to do anything a man could do. Clara was a very nice, likeable person - one of my favorite when I was a teenager living in Ozark County, MO. I remember when she, Art, and Uncle Albert owned and ran the store at Rome, MO.
