On March 25, 2006. Age 76. (nee Quinton). Of Thorofare. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving wife of the late Maurice Leonard Savidge. Predeceased by stepson L. Theodore “Ted” Savidge and infant greatgranddaughter Aubrey Rae Savidge.
Devoted step-mother of Dr. Geraldine Savidge Martin (Richard) of Thorofare, Lenora “Lee” Savidge Savich (Milo) of Thorofare and Geraldine Savidge Read (Herbert) of Blackwood. Beloved step-grandmother of Richard Martin Jr. (Elizabeth), Lori Martin Tetzner (John), Eugene Glemblocki (Donna), Christina Savich, L. Theodore “Ted” Savidge, Jr. (Kathy) and Jodie Savidge Rusk. Devoted great-grandmother of 8. Dear Sister of Louise Rusin of Florida. Loving aunt of Joyce Carman ( Joseph) of Barnsboro and Joseph Rusin of Audubon. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews. Clara was a resident of Gloucester City from 1975 to 2004. She was a member of the Gloucester City Seniors Citizens Association and the Riverwinds Recreational Association. Clara was a member of the Verga United Methodist Church. She loved flowers and plants. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday morning 9 am to 11 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Methodist Funeral Service 11 am in the funeral home officiated by Pastor Gary Brennan of the Westville United Methodist Church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hurffville. There will be no evening viewing. Family requests that memorial donations be made in Clara’s memory to Savidge / Martin Scholarship Fund of Gloucester County College Foundation: 1400 Tanyard Road, Sewell, New Jersey 08080. All of Clara's friends from Shepherd's Farm was sad to learn of her passing.
We kept asking if anyone knew how she was, since they took her out in the ambulunce.
She was such a happy person, always had a smile on her face.
We will miss her.
