Mommy V was more than a neighbor across the fence, but a second mother for the first 15 years of my life. Birthdays, vacations, holidays, and most any other day, I found myself at your kitchen table, basement and yard. I have not eaten a pancake in the last 60 years without thinking that hers were my most favorite.
