Not sure what to say?

While scanning photos for storage, I found my favorite 8th grade homeroom / science teacher. I thought this was taken in 1960/1961. Rest in peace.

A year has passed and our band of teachers fromSPSJ still miss your smile indness andpositivity. We still keep a chair for you at our table as we gather for lunch. The impact you had on my life was immeasurable.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Polanki's passing. My memories of 8th grade at south Mountain Junior High School start and end with 8th grade class memories! Mrs. Polanki's interest in science was very influential in my education and I will always remember her for her contribution. What a wonderful educator. Thank you

So sorry to hear of Clare's passing. She lived a rich of sharing and caring for others with her time and talents. So glad to have known Clare as my 7th grade teacher and a fellow Hibernian Sister in LAOH Lehigh County Division One. Our loss but Heaven's gain. Clare with be missed and remembered fondly by many.

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing! I had her as a teacher for two years, and she took me to the science competition at Penn State one of those years! I remember she always used to call me Heather by accident because I reminded her of a previous student named Heather that she had had. It always made me smile and I never figured out who Heather was. I will be saying prayers for her and all of you!

We lost a member of Our St. Phillip and James band off teachers. Clair and I taught together for seven years at SPSj. Claire was not only a comsummate Science teacher as well as a person who showed great empathy and loved her job. Claire had a great sense of humor and our group of teeachers spent many nights after school laughing and joking in the faculty room. We all went different ways after leaving SPSJ but remained close friends and met at least twice a year. No matter where we ended...
