Not sure what to say?

Gregarious, that would be a great description of one of the first impressions that one would have had if Phil. We met in our 30´s and had great adventures together that bring a smile as I think of them. Phil´s other qualities included being such a loyal friend and choosing to face head-on the adversities that came with life. Thanks Phil for bringing smiles and light to our lives! Geoff Smart

I was very sad to hear of Phil´s passing. He was a good friend I met at the U when he returned from his mission. Phil had a bigger than life personality. We were playing tennis on their clay court one time and Phil missed a shot and his racquet went a flying and landed in the swimming pool. My brother Dave went with he and Click to Europe. When he came back to Utah a few years ago we were able to meet up again and see him a few times. May his children and family be comforted with good...

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We were friends and golfing buddies in high school. We had many fun and lasting memories together. He was witty, and quick with fun humor and a just a lot of fun to be around. Phil was well like by those who knew him. Our condolences to family and loved ones.

So sorry to hear of Phil's passing. We were friends in junior high and high school, and we had many classes together. He was intelligent, friendly, and fun. He made a difference in the lives of those around him. Sending best wishes and prayers of hope to his family. May you feel Heaven's comfort and be blessed with happy memories and lasting appreciation for Phil's connection to your lives.

Phil was truly my big brother growing up! He always included us "little sisters" in all the fun; ping pong tournaments, family vacations, rock out sessions, Sunday dinners. He loved to tease us about our dates and had nicknames or songs for us and our friends. Phil was so much fun and we were blessed to call him our brother! Sending my condolences. Sheri Mahas Swenson

To the family of my dear best friend growing up near the Country Club: I'm so very sorry to hear of Phillip's passing. I haven't seen him for many years but have so many fond memories of him, Click and Viv and Shauna, Stephen and Christine and, of course, his beloved Bamberger grandparents. May his memory be a blessing.

Phillip was our next door neighbor for 23 years. My children adored him. He was always there for a hug when they needed one. We have a lot of tender memories of Phillip and his family. Our love to the family. We will always have fond memories of him.

Phillip and I worked in the commercial real estate business back in the day. I really enjoyed working with him. RIP Phillip.

Phil´s obit doesn´t mention the U of Utah, but if I am not mistaken, he was a student in one of my classes. He was a delight!
