Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the family.I have fond memories of Mr.Barker at Bubba's and in my business. He was always a gentleman
to everyone. He will surely be missed. My prayers will be with the family in the days and weeks to come.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Bubba was one of a kind and no one knew that better than you, Lucille. The times Joe and I spent with you both were special. Our lives took different paths and we may have gone years without seeing one another but we would always pick up where we left off....still friends!

Our gracious God will keep you and Ronnie in His care and give you that wonderful peace "beyond all understanding". Love in Him !

High school, dates, a milkshake for dinner before going to work at DuPont at midnight, these are just a few memories I have of Bubba's and the best ice cream in the world. I took my children there and then they knew there "was" really a difference in ice cream. I go there when I visit home if it is open. Bubba's is a landmark for us older guys and will always be a good memory for me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family during this time. Bubba's is truly an icon. May his legend continue for many generations.

Please accept my condolences. I didn't know your loved one, but his legacy is rooted in great family memories for myself, my children and many others.
God Bless You All

May the angels offer care and comfort to the family . His ice cream shop became a icon in Danville during my life and I will cherish those evenings and hot summers walking to his shop, and that is what makes a part of Americana.

Bubba will be missed, Godspeed.

My family has been patrons of Bubbas for years. I am 39 and as far back as I can remember we've gone to Bubbas. I always thought it was the best ice cream in town. Still do. Just last year my son began working at Bubbas (Chad Horne). He would be at the funeral except he is in France and won't return until late Wednesday night. He doesn't know as of yet. Anyway, Bubba will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and employees of his establishment. God Bless You All!

"Bubba" you will truly be missed by all. Every time the kids and I would come home for a visit, we would always stop by and get some ice cream. The kids would not let us leave town without stopping. Our prayers are with you and your family.
