RIP Bud.

His was a life well-lived, with a lasting legacy of civic service. My condolences to the family.

My deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of "Uncle Bud" as all the members of the Gospel Prophets were asked to call him. Thank you Bud for all the great things you did for Scouting. We will honor your passing as a Distinguished Eagle Scout from Blanchester, Ohio. Peace and Grace on your journey and well deserved rest. You did your duty to yourself, your country and your God.

Mr. Brown would send us hand signed birthday cards every year. My birthday being in January, I remember one year he was in the hospital with pneumonia, I still got a card that year. I enjoyed my time there working for the Brown family.

I later bought property close to the Browns and learned of his career advancements. While in Washington DC we helped keep him informed of his property safe keeping. He was what...
