Not sure what to say?

It is 8 months today since I watch my darling Clarence take his final breath and listened as his heart slowed and stopped. I miss him so much He was the sunshine in my life, my reason for living, and now I just get through one more awful day at a time until it is my time to go to him.

I love you my sweetheart!

Clarence had a way about him that will always be with me. He taught me a lot and he will be missed more than words can say.

It was my great pleasure to get to know Clarence while acting with him in community theatre. We had many laughs in that short time. He was to me a man that exemplified getting the most out of life. I'm shocked and truly saddened to learn of his passing. My sympathies to Dee and the rest of the family.

From my ex-husband's "best friend" to my sister's husband, Clarence has been an important part of my life for almost 30 years. He has left a big hole in the family. Rest in God's love, Clarence.

He was a super person and will be dearly missed.

We are so glad we got to see Clarence at the San Diego Mansfield reunion. He was a great shipmate and always a square shooter. We weren't aware of his acting pursuits, but that was Clarence, never bragged. We will miss a great guy.

Dee and family,

We're sorry to hear this sad news. We met you and Clarence back in April at the Stingray rally in Hartwell. Your boat was tied up next to our boat on Saturday. Clarence seemed like a great guy!

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

The short time I knew Clarence, he was such a genuine and sincere person that it was like I had known him for years. He was a talented actor and and a joy to work with on stage when he contrbuted his talents to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank through our Lend Me An Ear annual fundraisers. Clarence never hesitated to volunteer and participate in activities with AFTRA and SAG and he will be truly missed by his fellow actors.

Dee and family it was a blessing to get to know both you and Clarence. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and family. And we all will see him again John 14:1-7 promises us.
May GOD continue to bless you and family. Horace Brown (USS Mansfield)
